Default A question for you firebird owners...

When I look at pictures of people's Firebirds I notice a couple of things. They seem to be able to turn on the fog lights without flipping up the headlights. It has puzzled me because I haven't been able to do it.

I wonder if they disconnect the motors to the headlights to do it...

Can anyone clarify please?

use the fog lamp switch, its to the left. its the rocker switch under your headlight switch. how long have you owned this car?

A few months. I know how to turn on the fog lights.

I just don't know how you guys turn them on without flipping up the headlights.

Awsome effort LSXNV. lol.

Only problem is I've tried that too and the headlights do flip up but they don't turn on when the switch is put in the Parking Lamps position.

now, that has happened to me some. i think it is an electrical issue. to remedy this, i will cycle the switch a few times until the headlights wont open.

That used to happen to me. Now every time I turn the parking lights on my headlights flip up. And when I turn em off it makes an awful buzzing sound for 4 seconds!

My headlights no longer embarrass me now when I switch them off and as an extra bonus my bulb that wasn't working came back to life while I was flipping the motor gear.
Only bad point, now my headlights don't pop up and down when I lock the car, always thought that was cool but heh, it's worth the trade off.
Thanks ds98formula and ls1tech!
