IMO... yes.

You'll need some type of mufflers or bullets after the LT's and before the turndowns. No point in using a y-pipe since you can just run true duals.

I would recommend some type of muffler or bullet after the y. The open header/no muffler does not sound good in my opinion. Dynomax makes a fairly affordable bullet that sounds pretty nice you could get put on end of the y-pipe.

You can run a bullet muffler after the Y-pipe then into a turndown and not lose any ground clearance, and IMO it'll sound good!
I used a 4" dia.magnaflow in mine.
If your going to lower your car you don't want true duals, you'll lose to much ground clearance.

Yeah that's true, since there's no y-pipe.

I'm runnin Pacesetter long tubes into an ORY then dumped... IMO it sounds amazing... very aggressive yet a lil raspy at mid throttle, but will give raggin hard on at WOT. I get compliments all the time on how it sounds. If nothing else you could spend a few bucks at autozone for a turn down and clamp. run it that way and decide for yourself if its the sound your into... if not them pick up a bullet muffler then turn down.
