Default UD pulley really worth it?

I have almost every bolt on and its going to take me a while till i decide what im going to do with the car next meaning something a bit more major then a UD pulley. Is it worth putting on ? how much power would you really gain from these ? i know this has been asked before many times. Just like to get as many people with experience with these as possible.

you gain a little power, but maybe wait and install it when doing a cam change.

Wait till the cam change, and yes you do get a bump in power. I use the SLP one as with it's higher ridges it helps the belt from being thrown. Saves from having to buy a aftermarket tensioner.

It's worth it to me...I put on the SLP on My 01 Z along with a ported TB and instantly felt a big differnce..Night and day..I like doing two mods at once

The only mod you don't need is a smooth bellow...dyno proven to produce this=0rwhp

It is definitely worth it. Like already stated wait till cam swap and do it then or until you have get at the front of your engine i.e. replacing water pump. I have a 25% UDP and it gave me a dyno proven 12rwhp and 7rwtq. This was on an already cammed car so I don't really know if an UDP makes that big of a difference or not on a stock cam car hope this helps.

It's typically worth another 7-8 HP is what we see on the dyno. Not bad for the price. If you are doing a cam that is a good time to do it. However, on the f-bodies, they aren't bad to do on their own. The vettes are another story though...

Its worth it if you want extra power. It already been said that makes most sense with cam change.

An SPL pulley was my last bolt on. Def worth the effort. I have a 1/2 drive 250 ft-lb TQ wrench and it helped a bunch during the install.

Car seemed to rev easier and pulls harder.

I don't see myself putting much more money into the car at this time since I'm starting college next month.

The install is quick(but then again I didnt have any ac components), you really dont have to wait for a cam install...the car pulled harder all over the powerband after

Yeah i dont think you have to wait for a cam install either but if you are doing one might as well kill em both at the same time

I just pulled this thread up. With tax refunds I got a little money to spend. I have an Alpine 500w amp and 10" sub. Should I get the OD alt pulley?

Well, no I'm on stock pulley. I'm saying should I go ahead and get the UD/OD combo?
