Was gonna say st35 but you got it.
Not bashing BMR but I hear alot of
better comments on Spohn parts
and they are comparable in price.
Personally I don't have any of either.
I am kicking around a spohn chrome moly
rear sway though

i have a bunch of bmr suspension parts, and no issues with quality yet... id get subframe connectors u will see a big improvement in the cars stiffness, and body flex.. it makes the car feal alot more solid

Another Vote for subframes. I got the SLP bolt on so I didn't have to worry about someone welding on the car.

I have a bunch of BMR stuff. Unless you're going to dissect every little last detail of how parts are built, you're gonna have a hard time finding as good of parts for the money, IMO. Hands down, subframe connectors are the best thing to do for the money. If I had known how good they were, I'd have done them a long time ago.

Subframes are neccesary for keeping your car past 2-3 years of spirited driving. BMR is fine and I have his panhard bar, and torque arm on a Kenny Brown Double Diamond subframe connectors. Whatever you buy, look for a sunframe connector that ties in to the little ears that hold the rear control arms to the chassis.

Best bang for the buck are LG's (G2) lower front control arms, and the Torsen T2R positraction from Sam Strano. These are not cheap but are the best "bang for the buck" parts in my experience. I have a 1LE and have also replaced the trans mount and sway bar bushings, and put the battery in the back.

The BMR items and poly bushing items don't cost very much and are good ideas too, but do not make a large difference in handling. The Texas Speed and Performance lid is nice too, imo.

bmr and spohn are very good...

One question, which would you recommend that tie into the little ears that hold the rear control arms to the chassis? I've got an non-lowered '01 Camaro SS as a daily driver and I'm considering getting the following and was concerned about clearance:

SSRA
FLP LT headers
2 Flowtech Cut-outs
BMR SFCs

Are there advantages to lowering a car? I've heard that launching isn't as straight, certain wheel/tire fitments will rub, and the biggest is scraping certain SFCs, Headers, and SSRA. If all this is happening, why still lower the car?

Sorry, I guess that's 3 or 4 questions...

BMR SFC's hang very low compared to some of
the others. Not only will they scrape I think they
look bad. My .02

I would say SFCs and LCAs. Inthat order. The bang for the buck is also going to depend on what you wanna do. Wanna go straight as possible and hook up on a launch? Or you wanna cut some fast corners and go in circles or some **** like that . You can do both, just pick which you want first.

Two cheap ideas someone once told me is go with V6 springs on the rear (softer, better weight distribution) and weld up the lower control arms. Buy some poly bushings for the LCAs and weld some scrap steel along the bottoms to make them solid. That would be a good idea if you couldn't afford the aftermarket ones because it would eliminate that gap for strength.
