what's my nex mod?
I have been lowly upgrading my 98 trans am convertible. Has ram air hood slp lid, loud mouth exhust, subframe connectors, panhand pad, and blistein shocks. What is my next inexpensive mod that i can do at home to get a little more power.
Thanks

Inexpensive? Depending on your definition of inexpensive, i think long tubes are def up next! Tho IMO, its gonna sound awful with that loudmouth cat-back.
If thats too much.. maybe an LS6 IM? There isnt many things that are inexpensive that u havnt already done that will add HP...

I spend around $500 every 3 to 4 months on the car. I like the exhaust the way it is. Headers would make it to loud. How much power does an underdrive pulley add. What is the cost of ls6 intake with labor.
Thanks

you can get a used ls6 intake for $300-$400, you can probably install it yourself, theres a video on these forums of a tutorial.
All underdrive pulleys advertise 10-15 horsepower gain so...expect 5-7, costs $200-$250, not counting the new belts.
Im sorry that you dont want headers, it is probably the most horsepower giving bolt on, besides nitrous.

Based on your answer about headers I'd say get an LS6 intake and have your TB ported and polished. You should be able to tackle the install yourself, just be careful with the oil pressure sending unit.
