Wow, thats not that light of a hit. Looks like your fender is banged up pretty good.
How is the front suspension?
And yes, my project was pretty amazing, but came out well done.

Yeah, tires are a big part of how well you'll do at track or street... My tires are basicallly new, but the brand is kinda cheap. So cheap i wont even mention what they are. At the quarter mile, i could only get a best of 12.9, with a 2.1 sixty. On a roll i do ok, but still spin a lil from slow rolls. My tranny may have also been a problem, began slipping bad next day after the track.

WHat are your plans for tires?,,,

i think some guys run shorties for emissions or something lke that, but really and truly the scavenging of heat is not as good , therefor id go longtubes. sincei live in the south i ditched the cats smog/egr and air. smells like candy flowing out the rear.

Thank you! I was blessed with having an amazing friend south of the boarder who pretty much took the bull by the horns and made it happen. He put in performance parts, and also the body and paint. Its a badass silver with pearl, need sun to really notice its glow.
It sucked taking parts into Mex... From front clips down to the performance parts, which i had to make a second trip after finding out the cam i had order was not going to produce anything.
Bunch of guys in this site helped me on how to pick my best set with what i had.
Im about to rebuild my trans, through a Gm Dealer at a sick price! Im always lucky finding deals...

yea well im thinking of going 295/35/18 bfg's kdw2 t/a tires. Good traction but has a tread pattern for water. Or maybe lower my standards and get a 315 in something not as expensive

Yes it is... Just need to take time and find some stock rims to mount them and only use them on race nights at track or in Mexico.

Extremely clean car brother. Im right with you in how special it is. Me and my dad built my car ground up. Engine swaps, paint, interior and helped me when i needed it. It helped me learn so much about cars and how everything works out. Id never sell my car. Someones gonna be ripping the keys from my cold dead fingers one day!
