Ya im good now that was back in Jan... Jan 2nd to be exact. And yea man it sucked, it has haunted me everyday since then. There has literally not has been a day since I bought the car I haven't thought about it, and it just makes my stomach flip now. I miss it so much, I almost cried when I showed it to my 6 month son and he started bouncing around and reaching for the laptop. As soon as I pay off my Camaro im getting another one. Going as stock as I can, then add exhaust and baby cam and thats it. Gunna be my daily show car
...one day one day

I have a couple of projects going on at the moment. These and keeping the Daily Drivers in working order and the everyday BS of life has my time and attention divided. But the main reason I haven't spent much time on the restoration of my 99 is pictured below...

Considering the car will someday be his, putting it back together is well worth waiting for.

Thanks, man. He's 6 Months Old as of the end of July. My wife occasionally brings him out to the shop while I'm working on something. He doesn't try to help yet, but does enjoy getting pushed around on the Creeper. I hope he enjoys cars as much as I do. I can't wait for him to want to help wrench on something.

Yea my stepdad took my sister when she was 13 to pick out a car... In a salvage yard lol. Then she found her 79 Camaro they brought it home and over the next 3 years restored it together and just before they finished found a 81 with a straighter body and a true z28. So they just swapped it lol.

It was nice hearing from you, and I know how lil ones take all time or priority over all.
Ive also told myself, that if my ride is still going when my 7yr old turns 18, its hers.

The things we do for the ones we love.... In the mean time, daddys gone have sum fun!

Hey guys just a lil update... My ride will be Featured on http://gear-trends.com/ A site dedicated to all car enthusiast ran and operated by one of our thirdhonk.com Local members.

It will be the First American V8 Modern Muscle, but with a story that pretty much sums up all this thread and my horrible ordeal when the ride was wrecked, to what it has become now.

It just keeps on Rising!...

It's actually the first V8 to be featured and excited. He should have it all written this week, and have full story this weekend. I haven't seen all the shots yet. But I'm sure they will be awesome.

I honestly think your case was truely beyond repair... It was a horrible crash, just glad you made it out ok.
