it seems like an alright deal. i got an 02 ss for 3400, but i ran into a world of mess and replaced the trans and engine. After another 6000 i'll have an est 450hp stalled a4 car.

oh and i'll have a ton of stock stuff left over with only 80,000 miles. from a southern car too.
and the oil thing would be normal on these ls1 cars the stock pvc set up allows the engine to ingest oil.

nice score ! I have bought a couple ls1 cars within a couple hundred either way of what you paid. miles are pretty low for a 3 grand and change car that looks that decent.
its nice when its obvious from pics on the internet that you could part it and get your money back lol your in fine shape...
I look at these cars as whats the worst case scenario ? motor/trans/or rear end is junk and needs to be replaced , if your gonna mod it replace with better driveline pieces as needed instead of buying a 10-15 K car and doing the same anyways if the mod bug bites...I was fortunate enough to buy cars with decent/recent mods in place so I can relate to your happy dance
