Thats a strong cam...probably 2800-6600 powerband...if you're not an m6
then you'll want a 3600-4000 stall converter

So the question was, "is it good?" Did I get that correct?

I'm not exactly keen on Auto cars but I would venture to say that both the MS3 and the comp cam that was mentioned would do very well with a 3600-4000 stall with a 3:73 gear.

What we mean by gear ratios is what your final drive gear ratio is for your drivetrain. A steeper gear i.e. 4:10, 3:73 will have better acceleration but lower top speed. A shallower gear i.e. 3:23, 3:08 will have less acceleration but a higher top speed. The gear ratios are the ring and pinion located in the rear axle housing of rear wheel drive vehicles. I hope this helps.

Any of LS1tech sponsors will have the gear setup you are looking for. I see that you have an auto car and I would definitely doing a stall first over gears. You will see a much better gain.

Nice thanks for the help. My transmission went out on me so yeah I'm planning to get all that stuff done. Is it worth the money buying this transmission. http://www.bmracing.com/PRODUCTS/GM/...ne-converter_3

That's not a bad price for that B+M trans. I would however call Performabuilt and FLT trans and talk over your options with them as well. They are very reputable 4l60 builders here.
