I'm not sure out of the two but check out the Chrs1313 Ram Air set up. That set up has good reviews on this site.

I'll say "No."

You can do better, way better, on =performance/price, than
either of those. They're both sucker-bait.

No to what? I'm certainly open to ideas. I read the "you want to be fast" stickie and one of the first mods is a lid.

He means that there are better options that will give you more performance at cheaper prices. One being buying stuff used instead of outright. The flowpack is good yes, but is not the best bang for your buck. I have essentially the same stuff except for the smooth bellow (waste of money) but i got it all used for cheap.

If money isn't a concern get SLP, there are better cold air intakes but it's a solid bet, a lid is a lid so that doesn't matter, and yeah the smooth bellow wont yield any gains but does look better in the bay if its worth it to you.

I will buy used if I can. Just depends on the availability when I am ready to purchase.

I was looking at just the lid to start with but that got me to thinking, what if I end up going with the K&N later?

Definitely open to other options so if you've got 'em, share 'em!

Current specs are stock 2002 Z28 with y-pipe and a K&N air filter.

Thanks and cheers!

I personally would hunt around for used, check the classifieds section on here there are many good deals most of the time. Good to know your reading the stickies they are defiantly helpful in helping decide what mods to do.

Sold on the SSRA!

After a lid and the SSRA, what should my next move be? I understand this is probably more opinion than anything, but it would still be nice to hear some options.

Thanks again!

Ported tb, under-pulley, then youll want to do headers unless your going to the suspension/weight reduction phase.
