Trans am RPO Sticker Missing
Got a 99 trans am and the RPO sticker is missing on the door. Were trying to figure out if its a ws6 or not, it has the ram air hood but no badges. The hood is painted black and the car is red So it looks like the previos owner might of added the hood. The cars sail panels are also painted black which i have never seen a trans am with the sail panels black. It also has a stock air lid and it has a Pontiac RAM AIR sticker on it. Can anyone help? I remember a while back someone posted a site where you could type in the vin number and it would give you all the RPO codes.
Thanks

Comp Nine is out of business and nobody else offers this online for free (that I know of).
You can just take your VIN to any GM dealer and ask the parts department guys to run a VIS report for the car that will show all the option codes (RPOs). My dealer has never charged me to do this.

Not from GM, no. The only SPID sticker that GM will ever issue a car is the one that comes on the assembly line. The dealer will not/cannot print you a new one. The dealer will only print you a piece of paper that lists all the RPOs.
There are places that reproduce various factory decals though, like this:

Yeah, you;ll never be able to get another door sticker. Mine was missing, and I had trouble registering the car becasue of it....I had to get a VIN inspection by the PD, and they check the door and the base of the windshield.
I had to go to the state garage and they got the numbers off the tranny.
I called all over the place trying to get a new sticker, no dice, nobody makes them because of potential fraud.
The dealer route by the VIN# is good to at least find out what you have though. I've been meaning to do that with mine and haven't gotten around to it yet.
