Default Headers, Gears, or Suspension Next

Hey guys,

Picked up a 2002 TA WS6 M6 with only 20k miles about a month ago and so far I have done the following mods:

Potz TB
SLP LM2 Catback
SLP LID

After using the search button and reading through numerous threads I have narrowed it down to the mods listed below. I only have funds to do 1 of them at a time and was wondering, what would you do first?

Headers:
TSP 1-3/4 Stainless with ORY. Also adding MSD plug wires and new TR55 plugs.

Gears:
Motive 3.90's with TA Rear cover and Ratech complete kit.

Suspension:
-UMI Double Adjustable Panhard Bar & Double Adjustable Lower Control Arms Kit w/Roto-Joints.
-UMI weld in SFC's.
-UMI LCA Relocation brackets

I know this is all quite a big selection, but given I am a bit new to the F bodies, I am just wondering which area of mods would give the best performance off the bat.

Car is a daily driver and looking more towards 1/4 mile performance.

Thanks

I'd say gears or headers

Headers, exhaust, spark plugs then gears. Your suspension will hold meanwhile

***I recommend 1 7/8 Steinless long tube headers they result in more HP and maybe you can do True Dual exhaust for a better sound in your car and better Torque

I would do headers first since you already have the catback to round it out, and do the suspension mods second. To be honest, if I were in your shoes with an M6, instead of putting gears in the weak 10 bolt, go ahead and save the cash for a 9". I know it's a lot of cash to lay out in one hit, but your rear end is a ticking time bomb and will most likely give out the first time you hook decent at the strip. Just my .02

Headers would be the best thing to do next to.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Seems like headers is the unanimous pick.

Just sucks living in CA and dealing with the possibility of being reffed as well as smog. But you have to pay to play.

emissions suck i dont think the headers are legal in cal. unless you know someone that can get it threw for you, i would try to stay compliant. maybe save up for a cam that could pass. and then do a rear end with gears. wont make you faster but dollar for dollar welded in subframes will change the car so much it wont seem like the same car and there cheap.

I think if I lived in Cali I would save up for a ProCharger kit. Then when it came time for emissions inspection, remove the kit, flash PCM with the stock tune, put stock injectors back in, pass, and re-install. OR just run nitrous.

Prochargers are legal here in CA. Unless noted, they carry a CARB EO number.
