Default Throttle Not Engaging HELP!

Finishing tweaking my 408 install and every now and again my gas pedal wont engage. I press the gas but nothing happens. I have to stomp on it to the floor a couple of times before it engages and my car accelerates. Any ideas?

I would have some one sit in the car a pump the pedal with the engine off and see if the blade is opening and closing, and there is no slack in the cable. If everything looks good you might need a new throttle position sensor.

what happens when the car is running and you move the blade by hand? (from the side where the cable attaches)

Possibly bad throttle cable. Could be frayed in the sheath.

I would get some one in the car pressing the pedal while you watch to see that everything mechanical is moving properly.
