Default 02 TA is she too far gone?

Whats going on everyone so I am not new to LS cars I have been around them pretty much my whole life and worked on them never owned one. Saw my chance with this bird but I really wanted to get some opinions on if she can be saved and if it is worth it I only paid $2600 for it just wondering if I should just take the motor and tranny out and call that it. Please advise here are some pictures.

The main thing that worries me is the passenger side headlight getting reattached.

It doesn't appear to be too far gone to fix it. But is it worth it to you to fix it?

To me it is honestly worth the fix I have always wanted one and this is a close as I have ever been to having one.

What's the mileage? Can you talk down the price at all?

How are the body lines at the passenger door strike area and rear hatch? Judging by the collision location, odds are in favor of tweaked unibody. Some measuments need to be taken in order to determine the condition of the unibody. You can have the unibody stretched/pulled in the event that it is tweaked but you will run the risk of poor handling, uneven tire wear, random rattles etc. If the the unibody is significantly damaged then you'll want to find a roller. Hopefully the unibody is straight. In the event that it is, you will have to repair or replace the crumpled parts under the fender and bumper cover as well as make sure the radiator support assy is straight. The cosmetic stuff is the easy part. With all of that said, I've seen complete and accurate restorations emerge from what would appear to be worse collisions. Good luck.

Looks worth fixing, but it depends on you or shop doing it. If shop does it the repair bill plus car cost will be higher than buying a driver car.

Car is definitely repairable, honestly though I wouldn't want the headache.

It doesn't seem like it is going to be too bad I have the bumper, headlight assembly, and the right quarter panel ordered just going to see if I can slap them on and get it registered. I am stationed over in germany so to get the car registered I at least have to have that to pass inspection.

I bought a car a couple years ago with a bit less damage but similar components needed replacement:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/eastern-m...dded-pics.html

Mine already had the new panels on it and it should have had more attention before they were replaced , I have tweaked the metal where the headlight mounts a couple times trying to perfect headlight aiming , its pretty good now but especially with the flip up headlights I would look to get that corner of the header panel replaced on yours so you don't have similar issues.

Hopefully like mine yours is clean title , salvage title kills value by scaring potential buyers off

It's fixable for sure, just going to take some work. Getting that headlight to mount back where it's supposed to and lined up just right is going to SUCK.
