Yeah, you should see great gains! You probably didnt gain hardly any, by switching from stock to shorties. I think it shoul be safe to say that you should gain a solid 15 RWHP, maybe a little more, beings you have a cam...
Good luck

1 3/4 is just fine for stock cubes. 1 7/8 and 1 7/8 stepped to 2.....they are for motors that have higher then stock displacement. As long as you don't have plans for gouging out your motor.....then you're good to go. Gouging being an affectionate term of course.

Now that I remember, since you are from D/FW you might want to stop by Lanes to get a True Dual setup if you decide to upgrade to LTs on that SS. I'll see if I can stop by WalMart later this week to develop some film and I'll post that picture of us with the girl from Hooters.

kool sounds good. im gunna buy LTs probably as soon as i get money.. transmission just got fixed along wit new o2 Sensors. picking it up tommarow.. its runnin pretty good. i gained 30 Hp by slightly bigger Cam which i figured i got about 12 from.. and i figured about 18 hp from the LSX its pretty mean.. ill probably get true duals sooner or later considering that i have a pretty crappy exhuast in that its just a cutout.. i dunno what ill do first LTs or True Duals we will see..

ddelallata...how are those pacesetters workin for ya? are they the new kind or no? i wish pacesetters came stainless(or am i dumb and they do come in stainless?). thats the only reason i'm leaning towards a more expensive brand....my baby sees every type of weather and i don't mind the extra $$$ to keep her healthy. oh well.....dd, lemme know how you like them, in a pm if u could.

what i probably will do is just get the headers and true duals done at the same time.. that way i dont have to do anything twice.. so i guess it will probably be around 1000 for LT's and True Duals... what True Duals sound the best? what i want is Really Loud and as much power as i can get! let me know thanx.
