Default quick header question

i just got some pacesetter lt's and i really wanna hook them up now, but the rest of my exhaust isnt commin in till the end of the week. is it possible to hook up lt's to the stock y after removing the cats?

No. They have different size collectors, the pipes are just not made to bolt up to stock Y.

You could just run open headers though till the rest of ur stuff comes in.

I would not run open headers. You could do a custom true dual set up. Or just pop for the extra cash and buy the y-pipe. They do not match up due to the size difference and where they would bolt up.

There isn't anything wrong with running open headers just until the rest of your exhaust comes in. It won't hurt the car. I wouldn't do it for too long though.

haha, i would rethink this one....i did that for 1 day, let me tell u that if u slightly tap the gas,the cabin of the car will shake like whoa.....it is ungodly loud....i wouldnt do it...just my .02
