what's up with mitcubishi/ dodge stealth vr-4 ???
You mentioned M3 M5 if you talkin' about 2002 and up I don't think so.
But before you call me an inport fan let me tell you I could have bought an M3 but I choose the WS6. My brother had to many bemmers I've seen way to much problems with them.
In my opiniton a WS6 ( or SS before somebody kicks my ***) just a better car.

Hmmm. Not so sure if Evo belongs on that list. Also, for the newbs, a lot of these will beat a stock LS1 if the driver of the LS1 is incompetent: i.e. TT RX-7, M3, etc.

I think it'd be easier to say what can't the LS1 take on.

If you don't drive very well (m6), spin them up at the launch, etc there are quite a few there which may end out in front.

Even given an excellent driver, there are some on that list that you might not beat....don't underestimate them.

How about you just make the list: what run's 12's stock in the 1/4?

Because only things on that list can truely say they can take a stock LS1 without problems.

OK..Ok...A Z06 would take it, if the Z06 driver can drive.

Yeah right , a couple in history have run 12's most are mid to high 13's or low 14's lol. A zo6 will flat out lay waste to it.

Add erly model NSX's to the list , Ive killed a couple when I was stock

An M5 is more level with an LS1. NOT an M3.

The Dodge Ram SRT-10 has major traction problems to go with it's weight due to horrid weight distribution. Plus bad drag up top. A stock LS1 should be capable of taking them.

I think they only trap at best 105. Good fight for a poorly driven car though.

Still, stock for stock with average drivers should be the details for these comparo's

I've killed a dozen or so ls-1's in my town that were stock.....most were a4's and others were chitty drivers, but I've beaten more ls-1's then I've lost to !

and yes, im still stock.

I'm just trying to say some are slugs, and some drivers just suck.

Oh yeah, and there are some C4 vettes that are stock ( Lt-4 ) that would smoke most ls-1's that are stock.
