i'm sure you'll be runnin into a broken 10-bolt if u plan on using drag radials.

It is true. I say low 12's/high 11's, too. The tires are the main things.

i have two sets of tires to use
-BFG Radial T/A 295/50R (street tires) The best 60' i've had with these was 1.95. The 2-3 shift solenoid went bad so i never got a good 1/4 run.

-BFG 275/50 (drag radials) I just got these tires for free so i havent ran them at all.

The car originally had 2.73 gears so it has a steel driveshaft. I've been told the its worth one tenth from a steel driveshaft to an aluminum driveshaft.

Hate to be a party pooper but I think about mid to upper 12s a lot is depending on your driving and if you can hook up. You want 11s ? Pull out your pocket book. 12 bolt, slicks and nitrous shoud do.
Just have fun and rip up a few mustangs while R at it.
Let us know how you do.

My winter project is going to be a stall, heads, cam, tuning, & 9inch or 12 bolt.

i don't see why you wouldn't be close to low 12's on dr's that is...you've got gears headers and intake...that should put you in the mid upper 12's right there...with the 4.10's the tires i think would make a big difference..but i'd expect on making only one or two passes...if that...since your 10 bolt will be sure to break on sticky tires.
