Default ws6 or z28

sup guys. this i guess is more of an opinion question. i'm thinkin about getting another fbody since what i have is a v6. i personally love the look of the ram air ws6 ls1's over any of the camaro's. but generally the ws6's cost more. and its also easier to find em with lower miles then z's. but is it worth the couple extra grand to get what i truly like looking at or should i go with the bargain of the 2?

I would get the Z28. I am a Camaro guy though. Get what you like so you will not regret it later.

I think he ment he would suggest the ws6

I would say get what you want, its your choice.
You can get a formula or regular T/A and put a WS6 styled hood on it if you choose...

Pick the car you will be happy with.

I could have bought a Z28 for thousands less, but I was ready to spend more for a WS6. It looks much more sweet "for me" and I'm very happy with my decision.
But again... LS1 is an LS1.. same performance.

But if you plan to make a beast... get a Z28 they are much cheaper then you will have much more left to spend it for mods.

I say go with the WS6 for two reasons. One is looks (subjective I know). The WS6 is gonna be the more aggressive looking and will probably get more compliments. Second is the 17" rims. I never thought that was a big deal until I decided to buy a 3500 stall torque converter. Now I need Nittos for traction and the 275's hook much better then the 245's (or so I am told). The 275's fit on WS6 or SS rims but not on the Formula, TA or Z28's rims. So now I am shopping for bigger rims and a nicer hood both of which I would all ready have if I bought a WS6 to begin with.

But as long as you get a LS1 you can't lose

well i'll tell you from personal experience...i first went with a ws6 because i LOVE how they look...however after i had bolt-ons done i didn't really have enough money left to upgrade anything...so now i am going with a z28 and i can end up having the power i want...so ask yourself this...do you want looks or do you want power...me...i got tired of not haveing the power i wanted and i was willing to give up the looks for the more power...now if you have unlimited funds...get the ws6 and you can have both

I think he meant an SS over the Z28 if you dont buy a WS6.
