I'd say 14,900 asking price. 40k bone stock mint condition always graged is practically "new" in my mind. Two years ago I bought my 98 ws6 with 16k miles, always graged ect. for $17k, worth every penny, I have 40k miles with not one single problem unless I cauesed it in the first place.

i paid $16,000 for my 98 m6 ws6 unmodded, loaded and taken care by someone who cares about his car like most people on here.. and a lot of people told me that was a good price. that was a year ago
oh yea it had 19,000 miles when i bought it out of new york...
when i was looking, I couldn't find any ls1 ws6s under $14,000

Last January, I bought my '98 WS6, stock, 49.5K miles, in excellent condition with every option except TCS and lumbar seating, for $12,400. It was at a dealership in Pittsburgh and I had it shipped here for $600 (my uncle, who works at my grandpa's classic car museum/dealership went out and brought it back in an enclosed, 3 car trailer ) . Worth every penny IMO.

I got mine in Sept. 02 for 14k, with 32k on the speedo and no mods . Its nice to see that I could still get a nice chunk of change for it now if I sold it , but I never will !!!. She has under 38k on her now sleeping till spring in my nice warm garage.

Some people seem to think that these cars just aren't worth any money. Don't know where that comes from. I never see those kind of deals on excellent condition low mileage LS1s around Chicagoland. Sure, you can talk people down some, but unless they are desparate to sell you won't get too far if they are asking a reasonable price to start with. $14K would be very reasonable for a '98 WS6 with 40K in excellent condition.
