Default First Mods?

Just picked up a 99 LS1 TA yesterday. It is bone stock and I have very little cash to spend right now but I want to do some small mods. What steps should I take?

Do a search for "free mods" and you will see what they are.

I did the free ram air mod first. Then I cut the factory muffler off and put an 18" bullet muffler before the axle. I did this myself so it was inexpensive. I loved the sound. That exhaust mod is called the "dynomouth".

here is the FRA mod how to

Until you figure out exactly what you want to do with your exhaust I wouldnt get a catback. Get a cutout, under a hundred dollars installed and you can set off car alarms. Dont know exactly what your goals are but if you ever want to do anything more than a catback for your exhaust then you should hold off until you know for sure what your goals are.

Def lid and air filter first, makes the engine bay look so much cleaner and then work on exhaust

Free Mods, Lid, cut-out

Then shifter/short stick if M6, or a Convertor if an auto when you get your first bit of cash.

Thanks a ton for all the responses guys. I think that I will hold off on the exhaust for a while and do some true duals when I get the cash for pacesetters. I really do want some sound though!
