should i buy an ls1 camaro and have no money to mod or should i buy an lt1 and mod it

you can grab ls1 cars for like 7500ish. Get one and mod it.

I would also go with a ls1. I have owned both the lt1 and ls1 and prefer the ls1.

LS1. It's new, more reliable, more powerfull, and simply put better in essentially every way possible. Nothing against the LT1, but why not get the newest/best you can afford? Besides, used LS1's aren't all that expensive.

I'd rather have a stock LS1 than a lightly modded LT1.

the ls1 is still going to be faster then a lightly modded lt1. I had both and both are awsome cars but i absolutely love my ls1

I like lt1's and almost bought one, but I'm glad I ended up with the ol ls1. By the time you put enough money into the lt1 to catch up with the ls1, you'll have spent more...then your optispark will go out.

my insurance barely changed when i went from my lt1 to my ls1...
