Default Stock M6 TA 1-2 Shift @ WOT = Chirp?

I bought my first Trans Am about a month ago. 2000 M6 previous owner says that it has a LUK Pro Gold clutch and a lightened flywheel. It has a Pro 5.0 shifter with LSS. Shifts beautifully but at WOT i can not chirp 2nd at all. Only other mod is a SLP lid. Does it sound like the clutch is slipping? Rear end? Or is this normal?

Maybe the car cam with drag radial street tires that grab the road really good.

Maybe the tires are quiet? My tires (yokohama) dont make any noise when they are spinning, or maybe I can't hear them over the loudmouth. But on the 1-2 shift the car usually gets sideways and leaves 10 feet of rubber.

Also, how many miles on the car? and what kind of tires?

Ok problem solved.

It was the floor mat. Apparently its not the stock floor mat. Even pushed all the way back it was still under the petal. So I could not get WOT. Ive removed the mat and now there is a nice LONG chirp.

LOL.....I knew there was something wrong.

My Yokahamas don't bark when they're cold. But in warm weather or after a little spinning or a burnout they sound sweet on the 1-2 and occasionally the 2-3 if the t-tops are out or windows are down so I can hear.

All I've got are a lid and catback as far as performance mods are concerned (my Ripper Shifter's shifting is a little easier/quicker than stock) and I'm able to chirp 3rd sometimes, although I'm pretty sure my clutch is going soft on me. It's nice having a car with enough ***** to be able to do this kinda stuff lol, gives your unsuspecting opponents something to gawk over.

My yokohamas make no noise when they spin. So it doesnt really "chirp".

me and a buddy used to chirp the hell out of second in his v6 camaro, and occasionally 3rd, but i believe he bent his pushrods going for 3rd. now hes got a 00' z28 and he hits 3rd chirp pretty regularly. stock hurst by the way.
