First mod?

First mod?
I am looking to buy a WS6 and wonder what should you do first? I want to get the best bang for the buck so to speak. So if I can get away with some tires, intake, cam or something... Just wondering what I should look into first. Also What can this motor withstand until it needs a better lowerend.

if your lookin for best body mod...and since u were sayin front end to high id get the west wings body kit air dam, just for the front end....but if your lookin engine wise get a new muffler or exhaust system it will sound great and run like a mother

Do you mean when he asked about the motor's "lower end"?
Hes talking about the the bottom end of the motor, how much power will it take before it busts.
Im not 100% sure of the answer to that, but Im sure it'll take a good 5-600hp. Its got a 6 bolt main.

If your looking for the best first mod, in my opinion it should be subframe conecters, if you want to keep the car tight and rattle free. For performance a lid and exhaust, like most have suggested.

another vote for subframe connectors here. it's not a fun mod to do, cause it doesn't give you any more horsepower, but it will reduce chassis flex, help with weight transfer and traction during acceleration, and prevent squeaks and rattles down the road.
performance-wise though, definitely an air lid. $100 for a noticeable improvement in throttle response. an exhaust won't do much for you since you have the WS6 exhaust already, which is 2.75". it will make it sound a lot better though, and add a couple HP.

Personnaly, I would go with subframe connectors first. It's incredible how they stiffen up the car and help to clear the rattles away. They makes the ride much more enjoyable.

SFCs are one mod that made a night and day difference in the feel of my T/A (kicking myself for not doing them first)
For performance: lid, exhaust (more for the sound) then the Ported TB, headers (kooks at the high end, or Pacesetters for cheaper) then top it off with a 100 shot N20.
You'll then have a fun reliable ride
