yeah when i bought my car someone had flowmasters on it. After about 3 months I got bored with it and ordered slp's Loudmouth and i love the sound. If you want something that is loud this is the best choice. Check out our sponsor afterthoughts auto to get a better deal than from slp.

On stock manifolds/y-pipe I loved the sound of my TSP Rumbler Cat-back. You cant go wrong especially for the price. http://www.texas-speed.com/ check 'em out...

I like my setup: QTP headers, deleted cats, 3" pipe with custom Y-pipe into a QTP elec cutout. Behind the cutout is the stock exhaust. Loud when the cutout is open and quiet when it's closed....at least that's what it will be after I take it to my buddies shop and have the headers installed. One of the guys in my club has this kind of setup except he has an aftermarket muffler in place of the stock setup. I like the way it sounds.

i bought my loudmouth a year ago upon installation of it and the y pipe i noticed better throttle response and it was loud. my car with that exhaust is louder than most of the trucks and the gurgle sound it makes when you let off from hard acceleration is awesome. if you want decent performance and to be loud this is the exhaust to get in my opinion.

If you are looking for loudes tpossible combonation ever created by man, then it has to be the SLP Loudmouth with Long tube headers. True deals as well are quite loud with headers, but the SLP unit resonates it a LOT!

IMO, Lt's + slp lm = annoying loud. I have a friend with Lt's and dumped TD's and his daily driving sound is better than mine but my WOT sounds glorious .
but I'm from Midland, are you on anythingcars.com? (pm me if you are because I lose track of threads I post in).

id go with qtp lt's and some of Lane's duals. They are true duals all 3 inch steel tubing, dr. gas x-pipe and 2 12' flo-pro twister mufflers. Dumped ahead of the rear axle. It sounds amazing!

TSP Rumbler exhaust without tips ($205)
High polished stainless steel Z28 style exhaust tips ($100)
Pacesetter LT coated headers & TSP catted Y-pipe ($700)
That's a grand for a nice sounding setup. Basically, for all the newbies to the site, we recommend them checking out LS1 Sounds to see what they like themselves. You can preview sound clips of different setups and different brands of exhaust systems.

GMMG i think has the best sound ever... BUT how about 2 SLP bullet mufflers with a 3" true dual and 3" longtubes?
And by far the best SOUND is longtubes - X-pipe - Cutout - 2 Flowmaster 40's dumped b4 the axle
