Default 2001 Firehawk

I have the chance to buy an 01 Firehawk with all the options except traction control. It has 38k miles. How does $18,500 sound? Good deal?

I'd see if you can get him down to around $16K. Thats about what I would pay for that mileage, year, ect.

Sounds like a nice car, good luck.

all depends on the area...in seattle it would be hard to find one of those and theyd probably sell around there..i bought my 01 SS w/ 19k mi for less than 18,500

with out looking at the car--15,700 is a great deal---16,500 is what the car is worth---18000 is a little salty but your paying for that monocure.

around here thats a pretty good price. You pay a bit more for the "Firehawk" name, and the fact its a bit more rare. Go for it.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I bought mine from a friend who was trading it in to a dealership, and they were going to give him 16,000 for it. Instead he took the 16,000 from me This was ealier this year and the car only had 27,000 miles on it at the time fully loaded.

For what it's worth, I turned down an offer of $27,000 3 months ago on my 2002 Firehawk. Of course it has plenty of extras.

You're going to pay 18k for the rarety, and the (honor, priviledge), if it's too much for you to pay on a daily driver then don't buy it and let a true entusiast who WILL pay that amount for it.... and let them keep it in nice shape.

I just hate people who run rare cars into the ground and guzzle them like cheap beer.

No way the guy is going to take 16 grand. Unless he's desperate or something is wrong with it. That is actually pretty low for a 01 Hawk. Bluebook is over 20,000.
