This is kinda funny....
In August I was paying my phone bill. The guy that was helping me asked if the Camaro was mine. Nobody else there, only me and the only car in the parking lot. (kinda obvious)... I said yes. He asked if it was a V8. I said no.. Then he asked, "well what is it then?" So I tried not to laugh. Told him just a 6. Then I was told later that I should have told the guy it was one of those new very secret V10 concepts. LOL... I wish I would have thought of that. I would have loved to see his reaction....

True... I do take for granted that every guy knows about cars. I've met some that have no clue. Hell I know a guy that didn't even know the a/c was fixable till I told him.... And true it could have been my dad's car or my boyfriends... If that was the case I'd be driving a 64 1/2 mustang or a WS6...

so cars only come with v8s and v6s(instead of have boxer 4s, 6s, straight 6s and 8s, v4, v12...ect ect.)? how come everyone is SUPPOSED to know about fbodies(or vcars for that matter)? Were you ever knew on the scene and didn't know EVERTHING? or was just curious about another car? I know I was once new to cars and didn't know about soem things, and i'm glad people didn't make fun of me, it may have discourage me from getting into cars.

I don't mean to make fun of anyone. If there is something I don't know about cars I just ask. I honestly don't ever remember not knowing anything about cars. My dad started to teach me about them before I could even talk. I know not everyone knows everything, but sometimes common sense should just kick in. There is more than one engine size. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

people think my car is a v6 all the time cuz the 99 and 00 gt's have the same style hood... so i get the assumption a lot that mine's a 6. then they hear it and STILL ask if it's a v6. retards.

For me and you yes it is obvious.
