Default Frozen Slide Pin

I have a frozen slide pin on my left front caliper. Will this mess up my rotor and pads? should I replace it. Thanks

Yes it will, will cause your pads to drag on that side, i would replace it as soon as possible.

I just ordered one from carquest for $47.97. I have been driving the car for 2 day (120 miles total), think I have messed anything up or can anybody think of anything else to look for wrong?

If you drive too much and the dragging pads get the rotor too hot, they'll warp. Happened to me before I realized I had a frozen pin.

correct me if I am wrong, the caliper slide pin is on the caliper not the braket that holds the pads. I have ordered a new caliper.

I Called To Cancel The Caliper And The Guy At Carquest Said It Is Just $25 For The Bracket +$7 Freight. Since The Caliper Comes With The Bracket I Am Just Going To Replace The Whole Thing For $47.97. Is There Any Other Parts You Guys Think I Will Need To Finish The Job. Thanks

Make sure the rubber boots that cover the slider pins aren't torn, that's how most of them end up freezing in the first place. Be sure to put lots of grease on the new pins.

I wouldn't replace the caliper... i'd just do both sides... replace all the pins and grease them really good. And if it were me i'd probably replace the pads anyways since your going to be in there unless the pads are still new
