Youre such a little tool.
I have never said anything bad about an LS1, I love all Fbodies.
You got caught running your mouth in several threads, and now youre calling me out?
You can't be serious.
Youre a little tool that needs to be taught a lesson.
No one gives a **** what you say, because they can see how ignorant you are when they read your posts. You are not fooling anybody.

I have NEVER said anything to diminish an LSx series block, I test drove a 98 SS and almost bought it. I already told you I liked my 95 better.
When will you learn to shut your mouth?

2. the new knock sensors pick up specific frequencies instead of just knock noises. thus, no more false knock codes.
ok now that the bs is over..
the ls2 cam sensor was relocated to the front of the engine for somew reason or another.im not trashing the ls2 i plan on doing a 6 liter swap in my ta ne of tgese days all iwas saying is that the goat is way too heavy and no my buddy sold his before the break in there is somthin about them not goin wot untill 5k miles maybe thats why he got beat idk

i gotta agree. i beat a full exhaust 03 mustang GT with my ls1 goat when it only had a catback. so, since the ls2 has 50 more HP, and 30 more ft lb of torq, there was something wrong.

there have been a few problems with the ls2 gtos. most are covered under warrenty, so he shouldnt be worried. with minor boltons they can be a force to be reconded with. i would suggest your friend sign up on ls1gto.com and read through some threads. he will most likely find what he is looking for.

IMHO, you cant go wrong with either motor. there are a ton of aftermarket products for both engines. we all know the capibilities of both, as well as the abuse you can throw at either. if i would have to do it over again, i would have kept the ls1. you can pick up a low mile 05 ls2 goat for about the same price as a 04, plus you get 50 more hp. but i like being the under dog. under estimated from day 1, kicking *** since day 2.

If you are comparing the GTO's, the LS1 GTO is kinda slow for what it is.. The LS2 GTO is a beast, I seen a stock one at the 1/4 kick the **** out of a new Shelby GT 500. Those stock LS2 cars ain't no slouch..

LS2 is a sweet motor, go tell your buddy to buy the new LS2 GTO and spank his buddy with the LS1 and bet him a case of beer on it

The ONLY thing I ever stated in that t hread was that a bolt on LT1 could run with a stock LS1. Thats IT.

I never said anything else... if I did, look me up and quote me.

Chaman got all pissed and turned that thread into something its not. Like he is here. **** chaman, he's an arrogant little tool I dont care what he says.

Oh, and here's some sugar for your cake

Stock LT1 Vs. Stock LS1

Lightly Modded LT1 Vs. Lightly Modded LS1

Heavy Modded LT1 Vs. Heavy Modded LS1

I could quote almost anything you guys say because its so ******* stupid and dumb, its easy to do.
But you'll never quote anything I say that will make me look bad because unlike you too, Im not even close to being that ******* dumb

The truth... what a painful thing huh?

realistically speaking, the LS1 spanks the LT1 in stock form assuming they are geared the same and have the same trans. the LT1 likes it down low and the LS1 likes it mid and high. i think the main reason people like the LS1 over the LT1 is the reliability/efficiency factor over the power factor.

anyone can post a video of an LT1 beating an LS1. there are MANY MANY more vids of stock LS1s beating stock LT1s.

i just watched the first video. it's a comon fact that autos win drag races. the LS1 was a manual and the LT1 was an auto. LS1 still FTW

once you get past the optispark problem, it's not too bad of an engine.

If I were buying a GTO right now, I would go with the LS2 7 days a week, and twice on Sunday. A little extra displacement, bigger throttle body, better flowing heads... Pretty obvious to me.
