Default Gear/Slicks Question

Ok, here are a couple random questions........

First of I have the Eibach Sportline kit on my 99 Z-28 and I was wondering what is the biggest set of drag radials I could put on there and not have any clearance issues with stock rims. Also if anyone has suggestions about brands. Most people I talk to tell me Mickeys are the way to go

Ok, second question

I use the car for a weekend driver and take it to the track, but i dont want it to be ONLY a strip car. I want to be able to still drive it on the expressway. It is a 6 speed, so do you think a set of 4.11 gears would be to extreme?? If so, what would be the best and what are some good brands??

Thanks

sportlines are going to limit your sizes. be prepared to roll the fender and do some inner fender mods. 4.11s is what most guys run here. i heard richmond gears whine no matter if they are set right. BUT stock 10 bolt+slicks

get a rear end first. do it right the first time b4 you start breakin stuff. don't just build the 10 bolt. ha I just realized i didn't answer your question at all.

I would probably go with a 3.73 gear. I have know people who love it and hate it. Nobody hates a 3.73

Since you have the M6 I would go with the 4.11 gears. Remember the 6 speed has 2 overdrive gears so going down the highway wont be an issue

Just my .02,

And that is the only thing im really worried about is the highway driving, other than that I think the 4.11 gears would be great. From what everyone tells me though, i should just give up on the 10 bolt and go with a new rearend before I start messing with gears

i have 373s a4 tho...i have 26x10.50x15 et streets....so id say you bein lowered an 26x8.0x15 would work..if you are runnin 16"wheels a set of 255/50.16 bfg drag radials..lowering looks bad *** but realy limits your sticky tire options
