Default headers question

Alright so after being positive i was going to go with pacesetter Lts and a tsp cated Y pipe. i was looking and now that i have the money i was starting to think if im already going to spen near 700 dollars what is 300 more to get a little more power so i was thinking about the Hooker Super Competition Headers
Item#:
7-2253A
from Tsp so does any one have the hooker headers and about how much horspower would i expect from the Pacesetter cermaic coated race headers and the hooker super competition.

Thank you input helps

I think there is a header write up or a sticky in the Exhaust Thread. Check that out very helpful. You will only notice the difference in sound.

I doubt you will see a difference from Pacesetter to Hooker headers.

Hookers here, they've been good to me. Don't know how much the car picked up with them, but they were the ceramic coated ones too. I'm sure plenty of people will tell you that they aren't that much better, and that if you want real gains go with Kooks or QTP.

Both are good, but there's really no power diffrence between the 2 of them. The Pacesetters are just a better value, and if you're like me we live from paycheck to paycheck so any bit of savings is worth a mile!

i had the hookers and now have pacesetters!! both are good quality for sure. but i like the pacesetters alot better. save yourself that extra 300 bucks and just go with the pacesetters. u wont be disappointed for sure. i probably would go with pacesetters over kooks or that new arh headers also!! after i got my pacesetters installed, i went wide open throttle a couple times and man u can feel the power pulling up the powerband.. go pacesetters!!!

I have the hooker comps which if I remember right were the same price as the pacesetters. I went with the hooker's cause I've had some in the past and really liked them. The super comp's in my opinion were overpriced and if I was going to spend that much I for sure would have just bought the kooks or qtp, but I'm very happy with my hooker comp's. They fit very good in the car. You can't go wrong with either one.

i've only had experience w pacesetters so i pesonally could'nt give a pro/con aginst hooker but, as far quiliity, and the easy install of pacesetter headers i would look no futher for the price..
