what thermostat

what thermostat is best that my car can still reach closed loop. the 160 or the 180. its all but stock 01 trans am.

stock tune goes into closed loop at 92 deg so any thermostat you put in there will be fine.

Best off leaving it alone and just working with the
fans so it can do its job right.

According to the owners manual stock is already 180 - in case you were thinking of buying one.
