I like the SLP/March/powerbond pully better than the ASP. They have a larger lip which helps to keep from throwing a belt. If you get the ASP, I would get a KTech tentioner for it. I gained 12rwhp & 12rwtq with the SLP pully.

Sportin the ASP for awhile now. No problems, no worries. Works just fine. I didn't notice any increase in HP but it helps the motor rev up alot faster...

you dont have to pull the radiator. You can do it on a lift, in a pit, or even with the front end jacked up.

I personally like the march unit the best. Sfi approved, Fluid dampened. Comes with new gm bolt, black powdercoat. Very nice unit. Id go slp before asp. And i went March before slp. There both gonna do about the same thing, but supposibly the fluid dampened march pulley will not cause the spark sensor's from retarding timing.

Thunder racing is the only sponser that sells the march pulley. Its 199.99 by itself, or 229.99 for the pulley, and both belts you will need. (great deal)

The march pulley seems to be cheaper than both the slp, and asp pulleys, and everyone that has run it absoultly loves it. I have seen dyno's of 12hp, and thats what they claim.

Getting the crank bolt out isn't to bad, getting the pulley off the crank is, and getting the new pulley on the crank is worse. Plan for a long day of frustration..

good luck
Chris

You are correct sir. SLP or ASP it doesnt matter. Even throw in March. I think you will get the same results no matter where. ASP has the higher walls now too like the SLP. Its a nice mod, I just wish I would have waited to do it when I do my cam next year. You will see on average about 5-10 RWHP gain.

March, Powerbond and SLP are the same pully. The ASP is not SFI approved last I knew. They did also have issues with throwing belts, but that may have been fixed. Throwing belts can be fixed with a Ktech tentioner.

I dont think they are the same pulley. The powerbond, or Slp are not fluid dampened.

I have been using the same ASP pulley from my old car and now on this car since I think it was 02. Ive been happy with it and have had no problems with the belts coming off KR ect. ASP is good in my book.

I've had the ASP pulley since 2001 on my old engine and my current one. No issues whatsoever and have never thrown a belt. Got it slightly used with belts for $175...
