Default How far would you go with a DD 02 LS1???

How much modding would you do to a DD 02 LS1 A4 Camaro. My car has 88k on it as of now.I do have Lt's and 3.73 gears installed with a predator tune which i don't have listed below. Is low 12's asking to much for a daily driver??

I wouldn't of done gears in a A4 DD. I run at 2k rpms going 70 in 6th gear with my 4:10s. I'm trying to find a DD. I would save the money for a little beater car that gets good gas mileage first. Then mod your car into a beast!

My H/C A4 is my daily driver. A converter will kill your city gas mileage, but it's completely worth it to me. The 3.73's are a good choice.

Hell, I have a spool in my 12-bolt so maybe my definition of streetable is different than everyone else's.

I have about a 40 mile drive a day total...going and coming from work. I barely see the highway since i'm in the country traveling on backroads.....maybe 5 miles of 60 mph. Rest of the time i'm doing 40-50 mph. 3.73's aren't that bad to me.

well for a fast auto you usually want a big stall and tall gears with bith take away from a good dd in terms of driveabality and gas mileage. so it is really up to you. because some guys dd crazy fast cars and some dont like an almost stock car for dd.

I daily drive my car as long as the weather is good.

I think a good dd auto would be full bolt ons a 3k 3200 stall,ls6 h/c/i and 3.42 gears

I daily drive my car and it has 4.10's thru an auto, 4200 stall, 248/254 .623 lift cam, forged bottom end with a Vic. Jr single plane setup. It drives great for me, and it gets about 10-11 mpg. I love it!
