HP gains from Mods?
I was wondering what type of HP gains that I should expect from the mods I am having put on this week. Currently I have a stock 2000 A4 Z28 convert. w/ 3.23 gears.
Mods List
Hooker C.C. LT headers
Hooker Y Pipe
Mangaflow Exhaust
LS6 intake
Ported MAF and TB.
SLP LID with CAI kit.
DMH Electric cutout
Dyno Tune

Wednesday all of the mods are going to be put on. I will get some before and after dyno numbers and I will post them. Thanks for the ballpark figures! If I get anywhere near 350rwhp, I would be pumped!

I'd say it's very unlikely to get anything above 335 with what you listed, with the bulk of the power coming from the LT's by themselves.
A stall would do you wonders!

With the stock converter, I'm guessing the car would put down 330-340 at the wheels. The dyno tune will help squeeze a few extra HP out of it. I've got a buddy with an A4 LS1 GTO that put down 330 with nothing but a K&N, short tubes, and a catback, UNTUNED. If this car is in decent shape, there's no reason it can't put down 330+.
For all you guys telling him to get a converter, you do realize that a bigger stall will REDUCE the efficiency and cause him to dyno less, right? It'll make the car physically faster but it'll dyno lower.
How many miles on the car? What kind of shape is the tranny in?

different dynos give diff numbers. the best way to compare is go on a club dyno day. my dyno numbers suck but my can runs fine. in my real world experience a stock a4 is between 285 and 295 dynajet. 15 less for a mustang. we have a local dyno hitech that gives great big numbers but i prefer real #s. with tune, headers and intake probably 325-335 dynajet. unless you have a generous dyno. get a before and after dyno so you see the diff!. just my 2 cents. you should pick up 20rwhp on the tune, 15 LT's, 5 intake. is my guess. some people on the board claim 400 rwhp from cam only, i'd like to see that on my local dyno.
