Default Vin breakdown

Can anyone tell me a site or book that can break down my VIN. I think I have a unique car but would like to know what's original and what may have been added and also, stats like what gears are in the middle of the back rubber.
It's a 1999 medium metallic blue (which is supposed to be a rare color and the only year for it?) pontiac trans am converitble with the Ls1.
Thanks in advance

That info would most likely be in your RPO codes on the side of your door sticker, the vin doesnt get as specific as options, etc.

Thats true, but take your vin to the nearest GM service dept, they will give you a printout of all the RPO codes and what they mean.
You can even get a VIS report which would tell you were it was sold new, how many miles when sold, what warranty work was done to it.

www.lonestarthunder.com will give you a basic VIN breakdown, and most if not all the RPO code descriptions.
