Default What Heads

I have a 00 ws6 m6 ..my(mods in signature)....its my dd..only drive probably 10 miles on average a day..but i still want a car that i can drive a distance without worrying about problems..and also dont want to completely kill the mileage..i was looking at the trex 224 ..i like that cam alot...but dont know exactly what heads to get...also dont want to get too pricey..but know i will be spending prob 3-4k...car has 96k on it so when it comes out it will be freshened up...but im not all sure on the heads..ADVICE???????

well some 241's with a p&p and some new valves is a good choice or a set of 5.3's will net you some power through the increased compression

just get patriot heads they work great and are cheap

i saw on patriots website that they are like $1300 is that just bare castings????

wow thats a good deal then...i would be spending much less than ithought..cams are cheap..its the heads that are so expensive...thats nice..glad to hear that those are assembled...im only 16.....moneys tight for me and my baby..lol

yea i will call them to get a crystal clear answer...i have seen some of the freshen up kits but i cant remember where...i want to say they were around $700 or $800
