I was driving my car yesterday ( i bought it yesterday
) and i realized that the Lights (mainly the radio lights which are the numbers and all that stuff) get hot. Is this normal??

The radio in a Camaro is the same basic head unit as in a C5...and those get hot too. That has nothing to do with poor or good quality, anything with a bulb in it will heat up eventually.
As for the cam, my WS6 was cammed with headers, and the dash never got any hotter than stock.
