Default Loudmouth vs LM2

Is there a HP difference between the two mufflers? Also does the LM2 have the 3k RPM rasp?

LM2:
I added a Magnaflow "bullet" muffler for $60 (Summit) and it's awesome... the passenger side tailpipe is un-muffled, only the driver's side goes thru the additional muffler... it is LOUD outside and QUIET inside the car, best exhaust setup i've had in 7 years.

I have install many lm and lm2 they both are overly raspy IMO. I would never put one on a car i drove, they are pretty much exactly the same HP wise though to answer your question

the lm1 is way more raspy to me(not to hurt any ones feeling lol) sound's like a weed eater. the lm2 has a muscle car type sound. i have a custom lm2 with the muffler mounted like the oem muffler the a single hidden tip. the diff between the 2 is the lm1 is a resonator and the lm2 is a bullet type muffler.

I just got my LM2 installed this passed Friday and so far. I like how it sounds, nice deep tone to it. I agree with Shaun, it gives it more of a muscle car sound. When you let off the gas, & just coast it. It's nice & quiet, even at idle it's great. At WOT its damn good lol I love how it sounds, awhole lot better then tha shitty Flowmaster Catback i used to have before.

Of course this is all without Longtubes & ORY pipe.

Default Weed Eater?

Shaun, you think the Lm1 sounds like a Weedeater? You're crazy dude! SLP LM1 with stock manifolds back is the best sounding, most free flowing exhaust out there! No Catback sounds better than LM1!!!!!They sound like a muscle car on steroids dude! I love mine!
