Default HELP!! 0 oil pressure!

i was cruiseing in 5th gear at 55 thn all of a sudden i loose engine power, i push the gas down and nothing happens, i downshift to 4th and it works fine for about 3 seconds, thn i realize **** the cars dieing so i slam on the brakes to turn down a street thn i realize my power stearing for some reason isnt working so i slam on the brakes real hard and turn left with all i got and the car finally turns, i get on the street and the car sputters to a stop and coasted for like 10 feet, i had full tank of gas, the oil was at normal levels, i get back in the car and turn the keys to accesory and all my gauges are reading right except for my oil pressure gauge, its sitting at 0, i try cranking it over and the oil pressure gauge goes to like 15-20 psi, the engine sputters for about 2 seconds and dies, i ended up getting it towed back to my house, i have no freakin idea wht the hell could b wrong with it it wont evn start, it must b something with the oil pump or something cause the gauge reads 0, and b4 it happened the change oil gauge came on, im stumped...any ideas?

idk, do you have a way to scan the car for codes? that might help, if not, dont start it w/o oil pressure.

Fuel pump? When you turn the key to ACC, does the fuel pump prime (~2 second electrical buzz from underneath the car)?

Wait a minute... 220? Mine never goes over 210. Considering the boiling point of water is 220 and antifreeze only helps so much, you're on a thin line. Something is already wrong here. Besides that, however, it sounds like a fuel pump going bad.

I'm going on a line here that temp is not right...

Although tuned now, while driving my car's temp would hover around 180, and only hit 210 at a light. Now I have it tuned to stay at 180 and fans at 185.

Coolant temperature sensor if shot would not allow you to turn on your car and would shut off the car when overheating. Even if cold, if the sensor is giving an overheat condition, it'd shut down immediately after firing up.

98s were the only ones with working temp gauges guys. 99-02 pretty much always read around 210.
