Amsoil air filter, Vs K&N,Vs paper
What do you guys think, I'm particularly interested in the Amsoil air filter.
Does it flow and filter better than the K&N, without the clean up mess of a cotton/oil filter ?

Just use a stock filter. I have actually heard they flow better than the K&N. I'm not sure if its true or not but I dont think its worth the money. I went from a K&N to a Stock and didn't notice anything.

It (the Amsoil EaA 83) definitely does filter better than a K&N (or any of the oiled gauze aftermarket filters), and it flows the same or close to as much as those filters.
It is also cleanable with just a vacum cleaner/shop vac.
This seems like the best alternative to stock or oiled types since BOTH AEM and Fram refuse to make their respective filters (Dryflow, Synwash) to the Amsoil EaAs for our rides' drop in panel filter type airboxes.

Thanks,
Yea I know these no real hp gain to be had, but paper filters need changing $£ and cotton needs cleaning $£. This one could last a VERY long time, with no messy clean up. I was interested if it actually filtered well or not, and I think I've herd enough yes replys to swap over.
I just cant understand why everyone hasn't swapped over yet !?!!
Thanks for the input,
Paul.
