If you can't get it to engage it's probably already been bypassed.

My light still turns on, but my skip shift has been bypassed by previous owner.

You can completely tune it out if you dont want the light to come on. I originally used the skip shift eliminator but it would have been just as easy to do what they did ^

Enh.. Unless I am driving extremely slow it doesn't even engage....

Waste of time.

I believe the criteria was "35% or less throttle and going 15 mph"... if you want to be in 2nd with no RPM just start off in 2nd and get it over with..honestly I never accelerate slow enough to even notice the light pop on.

Temp > 170* + Throttle < 25% + Speed > 15 mph = CAGS

My light usually comes on when I'm driving in traffic. Then I shift into 2nd just for spite.
