Damn those are nice! 650 for the headers and y-pipe is a good deal stainless. Hands down I'd be buying these if I was in the market.

I'm a bit slow on the EGR/AIR talk. Do go on...will I need it to pass emissions?

Do you have a pic of the rust and how long have you had them installed?

I have the Pacesetter LTs, with a TSP Y pipe, Borla catback, and a cutout. My friend has the same setup minus the cutout, and he has Kooks. we dynoed identically!!! Pacesetters are great, but whatever you do dont get Hooker! I almost bought a camaro with hooker headers, and that was what killed the sale for me!

Yes if they do a visual inspection of the engine bay you'll need to have them hooked up. There was no EGR on the 01/02 cars becuase of the cam change. However I do believe the AIR system remained which uses the same style tubes which broke on my PaceSetters.

Now if TX or Virgina (where are you living?) just does the plug in and scan for codes since the car is OBD-2 you can have a tuner program the EGR and AIR systems out so that no codes will be set and you can run the race style headers. I'd really be looking at those LPP headers stainless for 500 is a heck of a deal and the merge collectors are worth the extra coin.

I live in VA but I am from Dallas. I am not looking to spend that much on headers either.

LOL, yeah i guess thats true. after 2 years i only had very light surface rust down low on the collector, a little work with some steel wool got rid of 90% of what little there was.
