How to clean ls6 intake without messing up seals?

I just got my intake in today (used), and was wondering what is the best way to clean it? Oil film and coolant all over the bottom, and around the top, with dust over it, and also seems to be some dirt and dust in the runners. Are the seals tight enough I can wash off with running water and good scrubbing? Thanks.

Dont bother with the bottom. Dirt will build up again after awhile, so just clean it with somesort of wipe. Just make sure the inside is clean, and so it will look nice armall the top. Then install it and race me.

Bluestrat- Meet in Tucson? lol. A few of my friends don't know if they can help or not though, so if it is only one person, I'm going to go to DMAB in Tucson, instead of doing it at Ft. Huachuca auto hobby shop.
Dabeztz28- You know it man. Full exhaust and geared vs full intake and geared.

Nothing. All you need is tools to take the intake off and thats it. You don't want to loctite anything in case you need to pull the intake. Maybe get some little clothes pins to hold up the last four or so intake bolts, because they wont clear the cowl when you try to remove them. I found as long as your being any little bit careful, I don't understand how anyone can break the OPSU. It helps to have 2 people, one to lift the intake out and the other to guide the back out over the OPSU. Install is pretty easy, just make sure you put everything back that you took off (PCV stuff, etc)
Hope this helps
