Tis the week for SoMooD yet again, oh how time flys!
I think this time we will do a little more cruising, so instead of going from maggie moos to the garage downtown, we can go from maggie moos and cruise around the town...

We will meet at sonic at the usual time of 7pm. Then we will leave sonic at a decent time assuming everyone arrives on time, and head to maggie moos. That will allow for people to catch up who are late. Then we will all head out from there and go from Maggie Moos to Bert Kouns and go left at the light toward clyde fant. This way we can all try to stay together. Once we arrive on Clyde Fant we will literally cruise at a decent speed to let everyone catch up. From there we will drive through downtown, past the casinos, onto Grimmet drive, and then once we hit the first light we will take a left and get onto north Market and head towards 220. Once we run into 220 we will all merge onto 220 towards dallas and take 220 all the way until it ends at Bert Kouns again, and then proceed to head to the Academy Sports Parking lot where its nice and lit.

If anyone has any objections let me know.

I got a good laugh in earlier.
I was several cars ahead of this fox-body and a C5 that were "racing". I think they were high schoolers cause they never broke 55 mph(not to mention the gang banger rap). lol
But the mustang seemed quite pissy, cause when i turned off he revved like hell at me, so i went laughing all the way.

 

and why is it everytime I make a post it gets this kind of response? Sounds like someone has a mission on there hands. I didn't have to remove any weight to beat you, seeing how I already did when we lined up. Soooo, I don't really have anything to prove. I don't mod my car to beat anyone, I do it for me. So next time out we can line up again, and u can try to pick on a car that's supposed to be slower than yours to start with. And we can do a couple hot laps and see who breaks the most parts.

 

That is what I am talking about!!! He who breaks the most parts shall be crowned King of LS1TECH Shreveport Who cares how fast they are!

 

I am not worried bout breaking **** in the drivetrain. but then again, i'm not on borrowed time with a 4l60e and a 10 bolt

 

Speaking of our autos, I discovered that i can actually downshift into 1st although it isn't marked on the console. But I have to hold it there to stay in 1st or it'll slip into 2nd.
Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

 

I think I probably am in first place for most broken parts. I haven't made a clean pass in years.

I have broken 2 motors (2nd was not my fault),2 transmissions and 8 10 bolts......do i qualify?

I've ruined WAY more than 2 engines. I'm just talking about the current Camaro.

 

After 3 LS cars with a combined 3000+ passes, I have killed 5 slave cylinders, 1 clutch master cylinder, 3 ford 9" center sections, 1 Moser 9" rearend tq arm bracket, 5 wheel stud, 12 push rods, 3 trans mounts, 1 motor mount. Every broken part in my list is 6 speed related
I have never broken a 10 bolt, transmission or a clutch.

Is anyone going to Monroe Saturday? There is a big shootout starting at 12:00. Id like to go but I have tball and soccer games all day.

 

Well during the little cruise tonight the 700hp s2k was running a busa on crosslake bridge and from what i hear was winning until he hit a coke bottle or something and lost control of the car. They said it bounced back ond forth off the walls at 140+ and the car is now trash. everyone was ok but im sure feelings are hurt. Im not a fan of any import but i wouldnt wish that on anyone or there car. Just thought i would post it seeing that we are all locals.
