I just dont really car for them. I like the 07-08 concept they had. It actually looked like the 1st gen camaro (what they went for). The new camaro looks to much like the Challenger which i do like just because it looks like old muscle with a new touch.

We're back home with a healthy new little wrench turner! 8lbs 15oz, 20" long. Mom and baby are both healthy. I was an idiot Monday and spent the day drinking in a kiddie pool. I'm got so sunburned that yesterday I spent the morning throwing up.

As I was getting caught up on the thread, I noticed this:
I don't know whether we're all still in the trash talking stage or if we've passed over that part, but here's a video of my Volvo running a 14.4!
The secondary benefit is to motivate you to come pick up that block!

Steve, you can borrow my dipstick to get you back on the road until you can find a permanent replacement. I won't be needing it for a while.

yea it went 14.4 at 100.77 opening night of the track. I was up in the first 20 to go down the track which = spinning through 1st. Steve was there and can vouch for the track sucking that night. I was also on street tires and full weight. If your LT1 runs 13.8 ill run you in my stock 5.3 T/A for how ever much you want to run for and ill loan you some slicks.

Wait until those 2010 Camaros start getting run by guys that can actually drive a 6 speed. 4000lbs+ is a lot of weight to get moving and they are on 20" WHEELS!!! Try to put 350-385rwhp down with those monsters on your car. They probably weigh 85 lbs a piece.
They will be just like the 98-02's, it's going to take some time to figure out what they like. Those new camaros are probably getting killed by torque management as bad as my Avalaunche is. At full throttle the pcm is only allowing me 83% according to Hp tuners
Weight is everything! My car has weighed everywhere from 3600 down to 3300 with me in the car and it is a lot harder to launch one with an extra 300lbs on it. You have to drive totally different at full weight to make it run.

I've got a 98 block that's disassembled. The crank will need to be turned, 7 of the rods and pistons are in great shape. I'll probably have another good rod and piston once I get the other engine out of my car. No oil pan / or truck oil pan if you can use it.

Things are coming along. I've ordered injectors, lifters, rod bolts, rocker arms, custom camshaft, and gaskets. I can't order push rods yet, but I've got the push rod length checker. I'm also going to need a battery. Sam's club for that one.
TA Chris came over yesterday and helped put the rear end back in. Soon as the rear wheels are back on I'm going to start pulling the engine.
This morning I'm taking the young'en to the doctor to have his circumcision checked out. I'm telling you that was brutal. His future wife and all the ladies along the way will thank me. He'll also be happy when he gets to 7th grade and hits the showers.

Yea, it's sold. I had to go to Chevyland today and order some pressure plate bolts. Everything was all together except those damn bolts and there is nowhere else to get any from. So unless they get them tomorrow it won't be ready until next week sometime.
I'm not having a good day at all. First I find out my job is about to be gone and then I went out to the garage and find out some piece of **** scumbag stole my daughters brand new bike. All I can say is god must have been on who ever took it's side tonight because if I would have found them I'd be in jail tonight and there'd be one less ******* thief on the street.
