do all you guys ride together often. If so, how many of yall are there? I know i wouldnt really fit in being a Mustang owner but with a 425rwhp procharged/cammed 2000 GT i figured i might be at least close to worthy to kick it with some LS cars. LOL. I live in north bossier. One of my buddies (taws6m6) is a member on here. If nothing else, its good to know there are some locals around. I havent found a thread like this in the mustang forums. Any of yall go out to the track?

Its natural. When that light goes green you wont think of nothing but getting the best time. I get a pretty big adrenaline rush at the line. We will all help you as much as we can. Just keep the pedal down and shift were you should and you will be fine

Good deal... Yeah man I really searched and searched for a totaled z-28 or TA to rebuild cause i love the LS1 but could never get the right one so i bought this one wrecked and did her up right. Had to get blown/cammed tho to get up to par. How many of yall are there that are for sure going to the track tomorrow?

Probably just me. I think Chris' car is down, Josh went last week, other Josh is outta town, I dont think Steve can make it tomorrow, Hilton is building his as we speak, and Cody needs a clutch. Just not a good week for everyone to make it. I just go when I can

yeah, but its hot as hell before then. They don't start the racing till 6 I think. They are open till late though. Its not really a bad idea to go when everyone else isn't goin if you want to get all the jitters out of your system before everyone else sees you. At least you can see how it works and know what to do next time, kinda get the hang of it anyway.

Chris I am waiting for my Capital One payment to clear and then ordering all the ARP bolts for the Textralia swap. Prolly gonna have Steve drill out the dowel holes on the pressure plate this weekend. Still got my back on this little project?
#4538
yes sir stranger. Where you been hiding?

uploading a vid of it chris. The only problem is alot of the loudness was muffled out by my camera. You can still hear the lope. When it warms up it will lope a lil harder than in this vid. and i promise it is WAY louder than it seems in the vid.

P2 you may, or may not have a good time. The track can be very disappointing, it will humble your *** quick. It really makes you appreciate what a fast car really is, and how much work some of these guys put into their cars to do what they do. I can tell you, it gets very addicting quick, and expensive. Its fun as hell though, and you get to see first hand what each little mod you do can slow you down, or speed you up closer to your goal
