one thing im kinda concerned with is when i shift at WOT, my car wants to "hiccup" kinda. It did it with my supercar pump and now with the twin cobra pumps. So its not a fuel problem i dont think. Any thoughts?
Should i stay on the gas through the shift?

Don't waste your time power shifting. You will make it run just as good slightly lifting between shifts as you will keeping it to the floor. Plus, you are alot less likely to nuke parts Nittos are never going to hook very good on a stick car anyways so just roll out there and have a good time.
Steve, sorry we didn't make it out last night, we ended up waiting around for another buddy of ours to meet up with us. We did put about 14 bass in the live well last night though

do all you guys ride together often. If so, how many of yall are there? I know i wouldnt really fit in being a Mustang owner but with a 425rwhp procharged/cammed 2000 GT i figured i might be at least close to worthy to kick it with some LS cars. LOL. I live in north bossier. One of my buddies (taws6m6) is a member on here. If nothing else, its good to know there are some locals around. I havent found a thread like this in the mustang forums. Any of yall go out to the track?
Sounds pretty strong. Did you do all the work yourself? Where did uget it tuned?

well, I am all set to go. I didn't have time to wash it up, I still had the shoe polish on from last time. I am gonna head out there straight from work. I get there about 8:30ish. I wouldn't really want to go for tnt before that anyway with this heat. P2 i'll show you how to do a burn out there, make take a couple of times to get the hang of it in a stick car. Don't worry about what you look or sound like, you'll feel better when you see some of the other clunkers people bring out there.

It'll be a while before I'm ready to race again. I put in the new rod bolts and started pulling the stuff off to pull the engine out the bottom.
It's hot like the bowls of hell right now. Just dunked myself in the kiddie pool for a few minutes before coming inside. I'm going to head back out there around 5:30 and see what I can get done before the mosquitoes drain me.
Between the heat and the mosquitoes, there is not a time of day when it's pleasant to be outside.
Next steps are to pull the steering connection, take off the ac compressor, disconnect the master on the transmission, pull the wiring through the firewall on the passenger side, do something with the power steering (haven't really thought this through).
Then it's just remove the subframe bolts and the transmission bolts and lift the car off of it.
Once I get the engine out of the car, I see the rest of this going fairly quickly.
Mother and baby are doing well. At the two week checkup he was 9lbs 12oz! Big ole boy!
