I have tried 16 all the way down to 12, which is why I think the rear is unloading. I caught a pretty good hook the time out before and cut a 1.59, even then it still doesnt feel right. I usually run the least amount of gas possible. I decided to give it a go with right at half a tank, it didnt really do anything except add weight in my case

When you say it doesnt feel right what do you mean? Does it feel like the rear is wiggling when you leave?

the initial hit feels really good, and then just feels like it loses it right after with the spin. kinda just a scratchy feeling coming from the rear is the only way I can really describe it. I think some front drag shocks and probably a drag bar would do me good. I really need a camera to film it in the daytime. I have had a pretty small oil pan leak, power steering rack leak, and know it looks like the rear seal on the trans is leaking, it doesn't look small though. it looks like I am getting ready to pull the pan, rack and trans and get it all at once, and put some new motor mounts in while I am at it. I have access to a nice shop and a engine hoist so that will help out a lot

I know I can't be over powering the tires, so it must be the suspension

Did you car have 17s on it or 16? I need one as close to the height as what on the back of my car. If it goes on the back and its a lot smaller it can trash my rear. Check and see how tall it is and ill check mine. Thanks everyone for stepping up.

Both the 16s and the 17s have the same outer diameter, about 26".

i have to agree with hilton on this one. overall diameter shouldnt be changed at all, therefor they can provide one "universal" spare to put in any f body no matter the wheels it has. why would it tear up the rear though???

It'd make his abs/tracs go apeshit. If the outside diameter was different, his abs computer would read the rear wheels traveling at different speeds from one another.

When I was daily driving around on those 15" slicks, if I forgot to turn off the traction control, the amount that the rear tires grew at speed in relation to the size of the front tires would make the computer freak out too.

Hey Josh,

I have one. Though I don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for. Note: price is VERY NEGOTIABLE!
