that sucks. Looks like you had luck like mine. On my first pass my fuel pump went out. Went from 61PSI to 40 PSI. CAr went into limp home mode and took all the timing out as well. Its always something. Now the fun part apparently the vette fuel pump takes a act of GOD to replace. But its always something when your racing.

Made the drive from Texarkana down to Crandall to Dallas Raceway (very nice track I might add) and ran two personal best. Both my NA and n2o pass was considerably quicker then before. I was getting frustrated that we couldnt back up the 6.82 at 100.33 at prescott a month ago. Well we found out that my heads were warped and blowing head gaskets. Next step is to get some decent drag rims and tires and move to plate system. Maybe I can get to 10.49? (can always spray 175 )

That sucks. A lot of us never got to run our new setups.
A bunch of pages back I gave a ton of suggestions of things to do differently. I heard that the food area wasn't open. If you can sell a $0.60 corndog for $4, and you DONT, money must not be important to you.

I read that they were closing the rest of the year and for 2010, but then I also see where they were closing for the rest of the year to make it better for next year. I have the funny feeling that we are going to see Thunder Road turned into a construction site for I-49.

We talked it over this weekend and decided , due to many different issues, that it was time to close down the track for the winter. We are going to re-evaluate every aspect of the track this winter and try to make it a better experience for everyone next year. We do appreciate all of the support from the racers and the fans and we hope to have your support next year. The Bracket races on November 21st and all other test and tunes this year will be canceled also.
Any questions or sugestions feel free to call me at 318-455-0512

I would say that it would be a good idea to call David and tell him we really need the track. Everyone needs to remember that a track needs fans in the stands, not just racers. I always had a good time just bull shitting over a couple of beers with good friends and for $10.00 that's a good deal. Hell add another $10.00 and you could burn a little rubber on a friday nite.
